Thanks to our Democrats on the County Commission, Doña Ana County received a $9.3 million Emergency Rental Assistance grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury to assist local residents who have been impacted by COVID-19. This money is available for all county residents, including those within the municipalities of Las Cruces, Sunland Park, Anthony, Hatch, and the Town of Mesilla. Paid Sick Leave for All
Governor Lujan Grisham and the Democrats have passed the Healthy Workplaces Act, which requires that ALL New Mexico workers– including both full-time and part-time employees–receive paid time off when they miss work for medical reasons. Increased Teacher Pay
