Rental Assistance

Thanks to our Democrats on the County Commission, Doña Ana County received a $9.3 million Emergency Rental Assistance grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury to assist local residents who have been impacted by COVID-19. This money is available for all county residents, including those within the municipalities of Las Cruces, Sunland Park, Anthony, Hatch, and the Town of Mesilla. Protection from Medical Debt

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and New Mexico Democrats signed into law the Patients’ Debt Collection Protection Act, which prohibits medical providers and creditors from suing low-income patients, and protects them from being harassed by collection agencies.

Roads and Bridges
