As we get ready for the recount to begin in our Land Commissioner’s race, we continue to hear about voters that were disenfranchised and denied the right to vote. In particular, we have heard that potentially thousands of people who registered to vote through MVD offices may not have had their registration processed.
Throughout this election cycle we have fought to ensure that every vote is counted. On Election Day, we continued to hear about problems throughout the state that prevented people from exercising their right to vote. Needless to say, this is unacceptable.
Those individuals who registered to vote through MVD is the issue we need to take action on.
If you, or someone you know, registered to vote through MVD and then had to vote provisionally on Election Day, please let us know immediately! You can call us at 505-830-3650 or email us at Recount2014@nmdemocrats.org.
Thank you for all that you do to support DPNM and to help ensure that every vote counts and that every vote matters.
