Volunteers Reach Out to Voters as Expanded Early Voting Begins

Three shifts of volunteers prepared to fan out across Doña Ana County and elsewhere in southern New Mexico, to talk to individual voters, door-to-door, and work to elect President Obama and other Democrats as expanded early voting began today in New Mexico.

Expanded early voting began at  six alternate voting locations in Doña Ana County, from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday October 20, 2012. Early Voting continues 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays.  Alternate Voting Locations are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Early voting is also available to Doña Ana County registered voters at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mondays through Fridays. Voting will also be open at the Government Center and at the six alternate sites on Saturday November 3, 2012 10:00 am-6:00 pm.
