Early Voter Enthusiasm, Turnout is High in Doña Ana County

Turnout was high on on the first day of early voting at the Doña Ana County Government Center on Tuesday. While a  line voters waited to vote at the County building, balloting appeared to be moving quickly, and without problems on the first day residents of New Mexico could vote. According to numbers released by the County Clerk at the end of the day 1243 cast ballots in Doña Ana County, the top turnout in any New Mexico county.

Also on Tuesday, Democratic candidates and their supporters gathered at the law office of Michael Stout and walked over to the County building as a group to cast their ballots on Tuesday.
