President Obama’s National Political Director Visits Doña Ana County

Katherine Archuleta, National Political Director addresses a packed house of southern New Mexico women in Las Cruces on Monday.

Katherine Archuleta, the National Political Director of Obama for America, was in Doña Ana County on Monday to meet with women from southern New Mexico. In her remarks Archuleta stressed President Obama’s strong record on health, education, fairness and equality, as well as his tireless commitment to the rights of women, including ending pay inequity. Archuleta called on all voters throughout New Mexico to rally to the side of the President and get out the vote this November. She noted that women, across the nation, will play a key role this fall in re-electing President Obama.

Billed as a “Tea with Katherine Archuleta,” the event drew a huge crowd of area women, who turned out to join in the afternoon-long conversation with the President’s National Political Director. The event was held at the home of New Mexico Democratic National Committeewoman Mary Gail Gwaltney in Las Cruces.
