The Democratic Party of Dona Ana County’s Pre-Primary Convention will be held on Saturday, February 27, Registration starting at 9:00 a.m., Meeting commencing at 10:00 a.m. at the Alma d’Arte, 402 W. Court Las Cruces, NM to elect delegates to the Democratic Party of New Mexico State Pre-Primary Convention to be held in Albuquerque on March 12, 2016.

Special Meeting of the Doña Ana County Democratic Party Central Committee
to Elect a County Vice Chair

Notice: The Democratic Party of Dona Ana County has called a meeting of its’ County Central Committee for Saturday, February 27, 2016,at 9:00 am for the purpose of filling the vacancy of the County Party Vice Chair.

In accordance with Rules 10—8 of the Democratic Party of New Mexico and Rules 4—1, Rule 5 and Rule 6 of the Democratic Party of Doña Ana County a meeting of the Doña Ana County Democratic Party Central Committee has been called for Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Alma d’Arte Charter School, 402 West Court St., Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Registration starts at 8:00AM and the Meeting starts promptly at 9:00AM for the purpose of electing a new County Vice Chair and filling out the 2015-2017 term of the Doña Ana County Democratic Party Vice Chair. The Credentials Committee will meet thirty minutes prior to the business meeting, at the same location.  Any challenges must be presented at this time.  Any male registered Democratic voter who resides in Dona Ana County is eligible to submit their name as a candidate for County Vice Chair. Appendix A of the Democratic Party Rules require gender parity in the positions of Chair and Vice Chair, so only male candidates can be considered for this election to fill a vacancy.
