State Representative Joni Gutierrez (D-Mesilla) (above) was elected to the post of Democratic National Committeewoman on Saturday by members of the Democratic Party of New Mexico State Central Committee, who met in Taos. Gutierrez will represent New Mexico’s Democrats on the Democratic National Committee, the governing organization of the national Democratic Party.
